Level A - First Steps
(for learners with some basic Hebrew, not complete beginners)

You’re just getting started with Hebrew.
You know the letters, can read some simple words, know how to count to 10, and can say a few everyday things = like Shalom or Boker tov to your neighbours.
But you don’t really speak Hebrew yet. You’re not comfortable building sentences or using verbs, and concepts like the present tense are still new to you.
Basically, you’re taking your first real steps in Hebrew.
