Yes, bad things happens all around the world.
Bad things in the macro scale of things (במאקרו) and micro scale of things (במיקרו).
The whole world and its people are living in the uncertainty (לא ידוע/חוסר וודאות), not knowing (לא יודעים) what is going to be here next year (שנה), or next month (חודש), or tomorrow (מחר)...
One thing is certain though – time (זמן) never stops. Tomorrow (מחר) will always come.
The most important thing I've learned during these days of endless pain and uncertainty, is that life goes on. Life is stronger than you think, pulling you forward, forcing you to wake up and start a new day.
This post is about life itself but also about Hebrew – how lucky we are to speak such an ancient language but also renewing every day language, inventing itself trying to keep up with new days of technologies and world procedures, counting on its built in mathematics to prepare itself for the unknown tomorrow...
For example, Hebrew verb structure relies deeply on music patterns and mathematical structures.
This way, when there is a “new” word (say, “to text someone” – was not relevant 2000 years ago...) – once you have an infinitive form of said verb, you can immediately conjugate it based on verbs you already know. Also, you can guess the meaning of such “new” words and verbs since based on their common structure you can imagine where they are coming from. for example:
לסמס – (to text someone, send an SMS)
לפדף - to create a PDF file
לג'נגל – (to juggle (between missions and things you need to do
לפרמט – (to format (computing
למרקר – (to highlight (using a marker
